Here we go again …

Day 41 en 42: Making and glueing the parda lanes. These are long and thin strips located on the sides of the neck to hold the pardas.

First I made a strip (2mm thick) out of indian rosewood. I cut out long and straight lanes with wide pieces at the end to connect to each other at the neck’s head.

After this, I made some bamboo nails.

These are used to hold the strips in place when glueing to the body. They also provide some extra strenght to keep the lanes in their position.
