I am not sure myself, because it is the first so called teak sitar which comes into my hands. The outer surface of the wood has a rather dark and oily feeling, and it is more heavy than most tun I’ve seen before. That’s why I beleived the owner… I think I know that there are at least several different varieties and qualities of teak, so, why not…??? Anyone can help to determine ??
According to this post, it might be a tun sitar instead of a teak sitar…
